Quellmax BLACKSTOP is a swellable insert made of sodium
bentonite, polyisobutyl rubber acting as a binding agent and special
fillers and additives. It is characterized by strong, fast and reliable
swelling (> 500%), which guarantees tight filling of cracks and gaps.
The process of swelling and shrinkage can take place many times.
The insert has a rectangular profile and is factory-coated with a layer
of talcum powder. Due to the high content of inorganic components,
it reacts to water many years after installation.
